Summary | 0001660: Extra nodes appear in the tree for portable devices & the nodes have incorrect drive letter
Description | I've configured a single Portable device (using only the drive letter), however, for some reason, MM shows 2 nodes for the device: Compact Flash (F:) USB Mass Storage (F:) Whats even stranger is that F: is a CD drive!! (the portable device should actually appear as drive J: as configured in the Portabled/Audio Devices dialog.

Note: I've noticed other related problems as well a) The nodes sometimes disappear entirely (even though it still appears to be configured in the options panel). b) This bug seems cause behaviour originally described 0001478 -- i.e. when these nodes somehow got the same drive letters as the CD Drive used as a source for the virtual CD, all auto-organize operations failed. |

Fixed in build 819. - There was a problem in general USB device plug-in, replaced in this build. |

Verified 829 (duplicate nodes no longer appear). |
