| Description | There are some issues found related to gapless streaming that can result in silent playback Go to Options > Streaming and ensure that checkbox is enabled: [x] Play all audio tracks as single stream to external players (gaplessly) CASE A) -- ticket # 7758 1) Play a track to one device (e.g. Chromecast 1) and while playing switch to another device (e.g. Chromecast 2) => 15 seconds later playback goes silent, i.e. seekbar is still moving and look slike playing, but there is no sound! 2) Stop the silent playback by using Stop button and play again => now playback works fine CASE B) -- ticket # 7729 1) Play some tracks to a Chromecast device 2) Once playback stops (as there are no tracks in the queue anymore) wait some time (e.g. ten minutes) 3) Start playback again on this "idle time" => "buffering on ..." message appears, progress bar moving, histogram moving => no sound! 4) Stop the silent playback by using Stop button and play again => now playback works fine | ||||
