| Description | Currently, if MMA and MMA Beta are installed at the same time, all kinds of problems can happen because of resource sharing (DB, USB Sync, etc.). In order to prevent this, when either version is started, it should test whether the other version is installed (by means of inter-app communication). In case it is installed, a message should be shown: Another version of MediaMonkey is already intalled. For security reasons, please uninstall one of the versions before starting MediaMonkey. [Ok] Clicking OK will close MMA. Since this start-up check can take some time (probably not much), we should do it only if: - It's the very first start of this MMA installation. - If the previous check for double MMAs was positive. - If this MMA instance was notified about existence of another instance by means of inter-app communication previously. | ||||
