Summary0010875: Folder browser: it's unclear whether content is on internal or external card
DescriptionWhen using Folder browser some rules should apply on devices that have Internal and external Memory where when using Library Browsing Internal Storage should exclude counting of tracks from External Memory and either Exclude sim link to external memory from browsing or switch to browsing of external memory. Which ever is safest way to implement.

NOTE: Browsing internal Memory can lead users to false deleting files from external memory by thinking that they clean duplicates

On 2013-05-17-22-15-18.jpg Internal Storage Track Count is 563 which is incorrect as correct track count is as shown on 2013-05-17-22-16-38.jpg 20 tracks without 543 tracks that are on External Card.

By current view it look that you have 1103 tracks on device where actuly you have 20+543=563

I had several users complaining that MMA deletes all tracks from external card when they were deleting from internal memory only.

Only solution would be that MMA omit/exclude showing external card folder from view. eg. /mnt/sdcard/ will physically exclude showing /external_sd/ from list which will avoid confusion.

Tested build 131.

On the folders screen,
/storage/sdcard0 now shows the correct number of tracks,
BUT, /storage/extSdCard no longer indicates the number of tracks in the /Folders node. Only after clicking /storage/extSdCard and then going back to the /Folders node does the # of tracks display.
