| Description | This bug was originally entered as item 6b) in 0010689, but is being tracked separately since that bug was used to track MMW issues. The bug is that in the following cases, when 'Confirm deletion' and 'Confirm updates' are enabled, that for a playlist X that has been previously auto-synced b/w MMW and MMA, the follow bugs occur with WiFi Sync but not with USB Sync: i If the user deletes playlist X in MMW, then upon resyncing, Playlist X remains on the device, but is empty ii If the user deselects playlist X in MMW, then upon resyncing, Playlist X appears twice on the device, but both copies are empty What's really strange though is that this behavior isn't consistent--on some occasions, MM indicates nothing to sync!! | ||||

Tested 142, and it's partially fixed. i) This is fixed, except that in the case where the deleted playlist contains a track that is also contained in another playlist, the playlist isn't deleted. e.g. Create Playlist X: Containing Track A Create Playlist A: Containing Track A Create Playlist B: Containing Track B Add Playlists X, A, B to the Auto-sync list and wifi sync --> all three playlists appear in MMA Delete Playlists A, B, and then wifi sync --> Playlist B is removed, but Playlist A remains on the device (because of the fact that it contains Track A that is also on another playlist) ii) This is fixed, except that in the case when the playlist contains a track that is also contained in another playlist, the playlist isn't deleted. e.g. Create Playlist X: Containing Track A Create Playlist A: Containing Track A Create Playlist B: Containing Track B Add Playlists X, A, B to the Auto-sync list and wifi sync --> all three playlists appear in MMA Deselect Playlists A, B, and wifi sync --> Playlist B is removed, but Playlist A remains on the device (because of the fact that it contains Track A that is also on another playlist) |
