Summary | 0011189: Options dialog box should show something if it is trimmed
Description | The possibility to resize Options dialog box (which you added in MM4) has some advantages, but sometimes, if you reduce its vertical size, some controls on the bottom of the option sheet could be hidden (outside of view). The built-in sheets mostly don't have that problem (except Player sheet), but some add-ons sheets could be even more trimmed. Unfortunately, there is not any kind of information that the hidden controls actually exist, so user could think that they are missing. Some Windows programs display vertical scroll bar when some resizable option sheet is trimmed, but personally I don't like such solution, at least because it reduces the horizontal space of the sheet for width of the scroll bar. Maybe it would be enough to display some thin line on the bottom of trimmed sheet to be visually distinguished from non-trimmed sheets, so user could know that should enlarge Options dialog to be able to see hidden controls. Alternatively, you could automatically enlarge the Options dialog box to allow display of hidden controls when user choose some trimmed sheet.
