Summary | 0011228: Inacessible warning dialog shows for analyze volume
Description | When Trying to analyze all tracks under Rating five stars MM prompts that track is not accessible presenting [Cancel] [Retry]. While this is OK for Playback (tools -> Options -> Player -> Auto-DJ/Now Playing -> Show Warning for file to be played is not accessible) for Analyze it is rather annoying to click 50+ Times on Cancel. Solution would be that either: a) Clicking on Cancel is persistent for current Analyze session b) Add [Cancel For All] to not show that Warning dialog for session c) Silently skips not accessible tracks

I think that we should take the same approach like if there is a problem with decoding the file. i.e. show one single error log dialog at the end of analyze process including the 'Retry' column with checkboxes. Fixed in build 1657. |
|
That approach would be correct unless user enabled that warning so that he can insert media that is currently inaccessible. |
|
I don't think a warning needs to be enabled, I just made it consistent with others error handling (converting, ripping, volume analyze decoding problems). One single error log is shown at the end of the whole process for all failed files at once. User is informed about the problem, can insert the media and use the Retry column with checkboxes for the desired files. Test 1657 if you don't understand what I mean. |

Verified 1657 Even I do not prefer this approach it is now consistent with Rest of MMW. |
