Summary | 0011329: Drag And Drop to Now Playing permited for non supported http links
Description | Currently user can Drag and Drop Unknown file/Image/Link To MMW now playing To prevent that MMW should try to determine exact type of file that is D&D to Now playing before it adds to list. If it is a Link It should try to get Info from the link and if it is non supported file it should not add it to list.
Additional Information | Video is uploaded to FTP

I am able to D&D only audio/video files to Now Playing, could you take a screengrab/video so that I could know what you exactly mean? Which OS you are running? Mine is Win 7. |
|
Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, MMW 1661 and FireFox 24 is used in example Video Video was already uploaded to FTP and filed under bug number |

OK, but these are http links, MediaMonkey would have to check MIME type for each such a http link to find whether it is radion stream, audio file or image. This would be time consuming when adding files to Now Playing, therefore I would leave it as is for now |

I agree that it is minor issue for Post 4.1, I would not even notice if there was no delay when it is added to MMW and before it shows UNKNOWN as seen on video. It should be way to speed things up and show much faster. |
