Summary | 0000114: Player: New Equalizer features
Description | Adding this to the bug db for tracking purposes. Ideas for future enhancements mentioned by Jiri: - definitely save/load of presets (almost useless for most people without this) - this also includes a necessity to get 18-band equalizer settings for misc genre. I can extrapolate 10-band WinAmp equalizer settings, but if you know about any other way, I would be glad to hear it. - An auto mode - use setting based on genre of the current songs, possibly even assign equalizer setting to a particular song - A joined mode where moving one slider would influence its neighbours too. It would allow to easily manipulate the equalizer (changing individually 18-bands is not easy job). I'm not sure about algorithm how to do it, but I have pretty clear idea how should it appear.

Jiri implemented this--ready for testing. |
I tested this functionality fairly extensively in build 1.455 and it works nicely. I'll re-open/rename this bug to track the new equalizer features. |
I have added a new feature - it is possible to set all bands by just moving mouse pointer with the right-button pressed. (build 465). |
Tested that new feature in build 1.470 and it works fine. |
Build 481: I added save and load of presets and transparency settings for equalizer dialog. I also made some presets based on WinAmp ones - we need to create more. |
Verified transparency functionality and presets (save/load +persistence) in 1.481. All works as expected. Leaving the bug open as a normal priority tweak, to add in additional presets. |
