| Description | When MMW Portable is first started it still offer number of associations eg for Audio and for Playlists (possibly read from non portable version). Apron deselection COM Elevation Prompt show once. Should Defaults should be all disabled and no com elevation prompts to show. I would completely loose association part (which writes to registry breaking full portable). | ||||

It works currently this way: If non-portable is installed on the same machine with associations, then this associations are shown also in portable version so that users know what is associated with MM. But portable version doesn't associate anything by default, so unless user do a change to association manually (like you deselected something) then COM elevation is started and the associations are changed. It was designed like this and makes sense IMHO. Do you see some usability issues with this approach? |
