Summary | 0011509: Wi-Fi sync: error dialog when network is unavailable is confusing / fails
Description | If the user initiates a sync, and then forgets about it before clicking through the confirmation dialog, and then leaves the house, the resulting dialog is confusing and it's impossible to get rid of the Sync notification. e.g. 1 Initiate a Wi-Fi sync 2 Leave the house 3 Open phone --> Sync icon appears as notification 4 Open the notification drawer and click the sync icon --> Dialog indicating that Wi-Fi is unavailable with option to: a) Enable WiFi b) Cancel Neither option works as expected: a) Enable Wi-Fi isn't a good choice of wording because Wi-Fi is already enabled--the problem isn't that it's not enabled, but that there's no connection to the relevant network. Also, in cases where the user is connecting via a VPN or Ethernet, there's no suitable course of action. Maybe it would be better to just have a 'Cancel' and 'Retry' option? b) Clicking Cancel has no effect. i.e. after clicking 'Cancel' the Sync notification doesn't disappear from the Notifications list.
