Summary | 0011994: Series are grouped based on "series director" when series files are split into more folders
Description | As founded by a user in the ticked UMN-614232 If you split files from one series into two separate folders then they can be shown as two separate series in Media Tree (if various directors are assigned to the files). They should be shown as one series (even if directors are different)
Additional Information | This happens because for audio files we auto-assign "Album Artist" during scans, but for video files we shouldn't do this as there isn't any "Album Artist" ("series director") editable in MMW. http://forum.mediamonkey.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=87377

Until this is fixed. Simple workaround would be to temporary change Type from TV to Music Video and Set Album Artist to all tracks as "Various" |

Note that Series can share the same Series value (like MacGyver, Hawaii Five-0) so some way to split Series would still be required. The best candidate would be Series Date (ie. MacGyver\Season 01\Episode file *1 and MacGyver (2016)\Season 01\Episode file). *1 first occurrence of Series often lacks date |
