Summary | 0001231: Uninstaller doesn't clean up some ini files
Description | After uninstalling MediaMonkey there are a fair number of files remaining: e.g. MediaMonkey.ini in the /MediaMonkey directory and other .ini files in the plug-ins directory. e.g. as reported in 0006843: The uninstall left the following file, and its folders: "C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Plugins\musepack.ini"

Fixed in build 740. - MediaMonkey.ini manually deleted upon uninstall. - Plugins folder completely removed upon uninstall. |
Tested in 1240: Uninstall completely deleted the \plugins folder (including all plugins that weren't installed by MM)! Some users might get very pissed off with the new behaviour as it can potentially delete a carefully arranged collection of plugins. I think it would be better to just delete the plugins and associated config files that MediaMonkey generated. |
Fixed in build 741. - As discussed over IM, plugins folder won't be removed at all. |
Verified in 740--re-opening to track future changes re. deletion of specific .ini files that are generated by plugins included with MM. |

Given that there will be many user-installed plugins and associated config files, and given that many users would also want to have the DB removed, perhaps the uninstaller should prompt the user: [ ] Delete addons [ ] Delete database |
