| Summary | 0012949: Send logs dialog is confusing to some users | ||||
| Description | Some users find the 'Send logs' dialog for sending debug logs confusing. The problem is that they tap on 'Details' to enter details re. the bug, causing the on-screen keyboard to appear, but after they enter the details: - There's no 'next' button on the keyboard to switch to the next field (only a return key--which probably makes sense in case users need to place a carriage return in the bug report). - There's no 'ok' button or means of scrolling to the portion of the dialog with the 'ok' button. The only way for the user to go to the next step is to press the Android 'back' button to close the keyboard in order to get the 'OK' button to appear, and some users are bewildered by this. The simplest solution might be to allow the user to scroll to the bottom of the dialog while the keyboard is open. Alternatively, if the dialog was a full screen panel, it could make sense to re-order the entries to Log ID, Save a copy, email, details, and place a 'Send' command in the command bar). | ||||
