Summary | 0013053: Profile Management issues when the number of profiles changes
Description | 1 Sync to a device running Android 5 to internal memory (do not insert an SD card in the device) 2 Upgrade to Android 6 and insert an SD card 3 In MMA, attempt to create a Wi-Fi sync profile for the SD card -->The profile is created/updated, BUT it matches the profile for the internal storage! 4 In MMA, modify the sync profile for internal storage -->The profile is updated, BUT so is the profile for the external storage! In other words, it seems that if MMW thinks that the device only has a single storage location, that only a single profile exists for the device even though the device has changed and now has 2 storage locations. Moreover, attempts to edit either profile in MMA, causes the other storage locations profile to also be updated. I tested this using an Nvidia Shield Tablet.

Assigning to Rusty to test on 1.3.665 |

I tested this with build 665 on an Honor 5x running Marshmallow (CM13) and was unable to replicate. Since I haven't seen any other reports of this issue, I'm closing it (and assuming that it was related to the Marshmallow update rather than to the change in the number of storage locations). |
