| Summary | 0001322: Give user ability to remap track properties to another file | ||||
| Description | If, for example, a user has entered track properties for a file, but the file is of poor quality, then they'll want to re-rip the file and re-assign properties from the original file to the new one. Suggested implementation: On properties panel: Add new button next to Filename, and move the existing button up (so that it's next to Path) Add tooltip: Associate properties with new file When the user clicks the button, an explorer type of dialog opens and the user is given the opportunity to map the entry to a new file. Only supported audio file types should be allowable. Buttons on the dialog: [OK] [Cancel]. | ||||
| Additional Information | Suggested at: http://www.songs-db.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1645 If we implement this, we should probably close 0000593 to avoid potential confusion between the 2 functions. | ||||
