Summary | 0013898: Playlist should show loading till all files are loaded
Description | When selecting a Playlist with Browser View it only shows loading while it loads the Child Playlists (names). While the Child Playlists are loading (from name to Artworks) and while the selected Playlist is loading (files) no indication to the user is shown that any loading is still happening. It would seem the selected Playlist actually is empty. It would be nice if on each Child Playlist area there would be the loading circle indicating MM is still loading Artwork (this may be nice anywhere in MM where Artwork is still being loaded). In the Filelist a separate loading is likely a good fit.

I'm not a big fan of the current animation either. I'd prefer to: 1. Not show anything for the first ~0.5s. 2. Show our normal 'progress' animation in the main toolbar until the whole playlist is loaded. An alternative (probably better) to the progress animation we use for background actions might be to show it next to the Playlist title in the navbar, i.e.: Home > Playlists > My Playlist [animated icon] |
