It seems that whenever all the tracks in a view are from the same album, it takes this approach. This is better both from an aesthetic point of view (giving users more metadata about the album), but specifically because it tells users what _Artist_ is associated with each track--information that users consider critical and missing in MMA.
MMA should resolve this by taking a similar approach, that at the very least includes Artist metadata for compilation albums, and preferably also includes additional Album metadata that is available. |
