Summary | 0014518: iPad doesn't sync Video thumbnails
Description | None of the videos synced to my iPad 2 (fw: 9.3.5 - the latest) has thumbnails. Note that videos synced to the old iPad 1 (fw: 5.1.1 - the lastest available) has thumbnails properly synced.

Tested iOS 11.2 on my iTouch7 and and after sync a single video (using MM4, MM5 and iTunes) I see: Both MM and iTunes causes that the video appears under Video > Films on the device without thumbnails, so it seems that it is expected to not see thumbs under 'Films' section. BUT, if I change video type in iTunes from "Film" to "Home video" then the video synced using iTunes appears under the "Home Videos" section where it has thumb. So the "fix" for MM could be to sync videos as "Home videos" and not "Films", but I am not keen of that as we currently don't have native category for "home videos", we have only "Movies", "Music video", "Video podcast" and "TV". |

Haven't tested myself, but I suppose that iTunes must provide some kind of image. Maybe not as a screenshot, but possibly the original cover as taken from iTunes store? (not that it's technically important _what_ is shown, but that it's possible to show _something_). |
