Summary	0001473: Switch to Libvorbis 1.1
Description	The guys at hydrogen audio have made major strides in terms of improving OGG encoding functionality. Depending on the timing of the release, for version 2.3, I would suggest that we switch the encoder to OGG Megamix (unless OGG releases a new reference enocder that includes these changes) since the improvements are significant and it doesn't appear that xiph is planning an update any time soon. rusty 2004-07-07 11:36 administrator ~0004351	In general, I'm of the same opinion as you. In this case, though, the results are skewed so positively in favor of Megamix that I'd consider switching from the reference if Megamix has sufficiently stabilized.
