Re-opened, some further issues: 3) Pressing Tab stops on the menu bar, this shouldn't happen (as in MM4 and other apps) i.e. main menu shouldn't be focusable using Tab (only using Alt) 4) Up arrow closes main menu and the main menu bar loses focus! 5) When Alt is pressed then menu bar is focused, but menu item must be opened using Enter, 'Down arrow' should work too => Fixed in 2156 |
Re-opened: When menu bar is shown and Play menu item is opened: 6) using left arrow closes the Play submenu and menu bar looses focus! It should open View menu instead (like in MM4). 7) using right arrow on 'Play to...' sub-item fails to open the 'Play to...' submenu -- instead of this it goes to the next main menu item (i.e. Tools) |
Fixed in build 2157. |
Re-open 8) While 7) is fixed using right arrow to open submenu it do not focus in first/active submenu item and user needs to press UP/DOWN to get focus on items in submenu 9) While Sub- Menu is open with right button I would suggest that pressing Right Arrow do not go to next menu but rather closes submenu like Left Arrow. It just feel more natural. |
8) fixed in build 2159. 9) not implemented, I did not find any application with such behavior, all apps with menu toolbar (MM4 included) skip to next main menu item. |
8) Verified 2159 9) you are right it will be non standard behavior, this is also fixed like you pointed act same as in other apps. NOTE bug 8 (where no highlighted menu item existed) caused strange behavior on Right arrow at least on my PC all OK in 2159 |
