Summary | 0015625: MMS: MM5 Asks for credentials on each access try
Description | MM5 Asks for access credentials on each MMS access. There should be option: 1. Do Not ask again 1a. If user Cancel Login Dialog in MM5 it should not ask and access MMS until MM5 is restarted 2. There should be a way to change credentials in MMS settings under devices

I think that current implementation is good IMHO.It was implemented based on Jiri's proposal, leaving on him to decide whether a change is needed. |

I agree that login token should persist, probably based on: [x] Keep logged in check box in the login dialog. And then also give an option to log out. |
Main issue I had is that if MM5 fail to login to MMS normal MM5 operation gets interrupted often nagging me with login dialog. |
Currently the token _does_ persist. I don't see a benefit of not persisting it? As for the log out option, this would make sense once multi-user environment is added to MMS (which is not the case currently yet). Otherwise yes, if MM5 fails to login then it shows the login dialog (once an access to MMS is needed) -- this is expected behaviout IMHO. |
OK, so only Logout is needed then (not urgent, but we should improve user management in MMS soon). As for nagging, I'm not sure, if this happens in MM5 without user interaction with MMS, we probably should suppress further login dialog, unless manually initiated. |
Fixed in 2174 + added the logout feature |
Verified 2174 MM5 do not try to login after logout, But I would clearly suppress login dialog (after few login fails), unless manually initiated. |
Verified 2261 and MMS 0.3.1 Unable to replicate nagging |
