Summary | 0001610: Include Plugins for Pontis Media Devices
Description | Since we now have the 2 Pontis devices, we should include plugins for them so that when they're plugged in they work right away. I assume that this just means creating optimally configured General plugins for each of the devices using their USB Device IDs.

A plug-in for SP600 is ready (but should be shown to others only as soon as alpha 3 is released because it needs some modification of MM.exe). MS300 is another issue, it doesn't use USB connection but an Ethernet one, will do it later depending on Pontis feedback on SP600. |
Note: in 812, the Pontis plugin doesn't seem to be available. |
Actually I don't plan to include all device plug-in in MM, they will rather be downloadable from MM web. The H320 is currently included mainly for testing and because iRiver devices are quite well known, but I don't know if it will be always distributed with MM. |
It's more a commercial thing. i.e. if Pontis is paying us $$ we should give them a bit of PR in response. |
Included in build 813. - I agree that _if_ they pay us we can include the plug-in. |
It's there but I can't actually test it. Can you verify this one before I send it to them? |

As far as I can tell it works fine, tracks are uploaded to the device as well as playlists (to the root folder) and they work. |
