| Description | If user chooses 'MusicBrainz' / 'FreeDB' as the protocol, then like implemented in MM5: 1. User name / domain should be grayed or removed and its settings ignored for the MusicBrainz protocol 2. MusicBrainzServer from ini file should be always loaded on Selecting 'MusicBrainz' protocol (Currently Server field Uses last value of selected protocol on sheet load) --- Original report --- If the user chooses 'MusicBrainz' as the protocol, the Server name / User name / domain don't automatically adjust. This isn't a major issue, but it means that e.g. if a user selects Freedb and chooses a server of freedb.musicbrainz.com, and then switches to Protocl:MusicBrainz, the server settings don't adjust accordingly. This probably won't occur that often so we can just close as 'wontfix' if a fix isn't trivial. The only reason I raise it is because the above appears to be what happened to the user at QKA-700-55520 --- Original report --- | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Open FreeDB options 2. Select FreeDB -> For server enter "freedb.org" 3. Change protocol to MusicBrainz -> Server do not change 4. Edit Server to MusicBrainz.org 5. Change protocol to FreeDB -> Server do not change NOTE: if in case user press OK after step 3 them MusicBrainzServer in ini file is permanantly changed and CD lookup fail. | ||||
