| Summary | 0016815: Add option to not display wikipedia description in view headers | ||||
| Description | View headers now always display text summary info, mostly from Wikipedia. We should add checkbox "Show Text Summary" to view header 3dot menu. By default switched on. Switching this off would hide description, header could be reorganized then, to be displayed more space optimized (e.g. title could be next to artwork, not above). This option should be related to view header type, so user could hide album description, but show artist description, etc. | ||||

Since this is a view element, it should probably be resolved in the Manage Views functionality. e.g. 'Info panel' can be broken up into its constituent elements and be enabled/disabled individually per view. That has the added benefit of allowing users to eg enable Wikipedia entries for Artists but not for Albums. |

Fixed in build 3402. In case some subview has defined subelements, their visibility can be set separately (in view menu and Manage views). |

There are 3 subelements (e.g. for Artists, Albums): Artwork, Description, Genres I see Artwork and Description, but where are Genres in the Info Panel? |
Genres are at the beginning of paragraph with description. But currently it does not work (they are nearly always empty, so not visible), Petr has problems to get them correctly to MB database. It is related to change in Wikipedia links handling on MB side. |
