Summary | 0001688: Amazon Lookup: Access Violations on Windows 98
Description | As reported at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=12412#12412 I've observed this on one occasion, but cannot reproduce the problem. pah68 has forwarded a debug log of the problem which I've posted to the ftp server. Upon further testing on Windows 98, the bug is _always_ reproducible. It occurs exactly as described by the user; title bar shows the last track played, and text is an access violation message.

Fixed in build 825. - Modified initialization of the dialog, hopefully it was the problem. |
As described by the user, the problem still occurs in build 826 (he noted 'the title of the error box that pops up is referring to the active song in now playing and not the song that I have tried to auto-tag.') |
According to the latest report in forum it seems that there's something wrong with the user's machine. Also, I don't think that this should be caused by MM (I mean exactly what was reported by the user). |

I tested this on Windows 98SE and the error occurs consistently. Re-opening. |
Fixed in build 827. - My previous fix didn't work on Win98, so I actually returned the old code. That should work fine, the user that reported problems probably only has somehow damaged machine. |
