Although it would be better if MM failed with an error message e.g. 'No write access. Closing.' , the case is probably sufficiently rare that we can push it (possibly indefinitely). Rare because it requires that the user change permissions post-install. |

Reopen, It is more serious than this. It is easy to recreate when using OGG files and then 2511 crashes and can lag hole PC for an hour. 1. Install MM as portable to c:\MMtemp 2. Copy bunch of OGG files to folder 3. Setup owner and permissions according to original attached image 4. Select all files in folder -> Analyze volume -> Crash -> LOG ID 42940000 FULL LOG file Sent offline to Michal |
