Running MM is closed automatically (same as in MM4), but there was an error in detection. We're showing dialog when more than one MM setup is running. |
|
The behavior in 2327 is that the installer closes the running instance without providing any warning to the user (tested with MM portable). Even if this was how MM4 worked, it's not standard behavior to terminate a running act without prompting the user. Re-opening. Push to 5.0.1 if risky/non trivial. |

Verified 2328 (tested also with MM portable to confirm @Rusty findings) |

The behavior in 2328 is again the same as in the initial report. i.e. Clicking OK in the warning dialog causes running instances of MediaMonkey to close! Possible fixes are: a) what was originally described. i.e. to redetect whether MM is running when the user clicks OK b) to change the messaging to 'Please click OK to close all instances of it now, or Cancel to exit. Pushing to 5.0.1 |

Tested in 2404 and dialog looks correct to me. |

Verified 2416 Still all ok in dialog. |
