| Description | In some views e.g. Artists, Composers, Album Artist [Browser|Simplified list] , 'show all x tracks...' appears at the bottom of the list In other views e.g. Genre, Year [Browser | Simplified list], '(show all x tracks)' appears at the top of the list Although I think that the first approach looks better, users have indicated a preference for the second approach since it allows them to toggle the list without having to scroll to the bottom. To improve the look we could use expand/contract buttons. e.g. Top Tracks [⩔] ... ... ... All x tracks [⩓] ... ... ... Some observations on 2408 1) If a node (like a Year or Genre) is first loaded with Browser and List instead of Simplified List it won't show the icon to show all. Once switched to Simplified List it will also show for List. [Test node, restart MM to test] 2) Icon has skinny lines that don't render well 3) Icon may be better placed in front of text so it doesn't jump left/right when used |

re 3) but it would be inconsistent with similar functionality for opening all albums in Artist view or Albums and Artists in Genre and Year view (Browser). Maybe we should add the same icon (or some different icon due to 2) ) there too. |
