Summary | 0017739: Add the option to allow caching of thumbnails in Performance tab
Description | Thumbnails in the grid views have cache force disabled, and images have to constantly reload whenever the user scrolls. It is my understanding that cache was disabled for thumbnails due to the possibility of high RAM usage, but for some users (most notably, users with fewer than a few thousand albums; e.g. I only have 500 albums, whose thumbnails add up to under 7 MB) caching that amount of thumbnails probably would not require a significant amount of extra RAM. As it is a tradeoff, and it depends on the user's preference whether they prefer a smoother experience or to minimize RAM at all costs, there should probably be an option in the Performance tab.
