Summary | 0018067: iTunes import omits files for which location was not pre-selected
Description | This used to be an issue in MM4 too: 1) Start with empty library 2) Go to Add/Rescan dialog 3) Select location where the files to be scanned/imported are located (e.g. C:\Users\Ludek\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\ ) 4) check [x] Import files, playlists, ratings, and playback history from other applications: -- [x] iTunes 5) Press [Scan now] => all files, playlists, ratings, play history is imported from iTunes as expected BUT, if you omit the step 3) then only some files are imported! Specifically only those that are part of a playlist in iTunes and have been rated or played. Reported at: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=99384

Verified 2518 If iTunes library import is selected then all Accessible content is imported no matter if folders are selected of not. NOTE: Thsi make things much easier for users migrating from iTunes to MM |
