Summary | 0018086: Rating doesn't show/can be set when file unrated files are in selection
Description | When selecting files with the same Rating (say 5 stars) and having unrated files in selection you can't change the Rating in Properties to the value the rated files in selection have.
Steps To Reproduce | 1 Select a file with 5 stars 2 Also select a file that's unrated 3 Open Properties on both files selected --> Properties shows 5 stars (it should show none) 4 Set Rating to 5 stars 5 OK Properties --> Expect both files to have 5 stars, but unrated still has no Rating

Reopen Now ratings are not behaving like other multi file tag edit. eg.: 1. Select three tracks where 2 have same Album info and third one do not have album info 2. Right click properties 3. Album info shows info from other two tracks, but tagging box is unselected If you do same for tree tracks where two have 5 star rating and 1 is unrated then Multi edit properties shows unrated and check box unchecked where it shoudl show 5 stars with box unchecked. TEST NOTE: If you select 5 stars again and press OK (original step 5) then all three tracks have 5 Stars rating, where in previous builds unrated didn't update to selected rating. |

OK, so there is by evidence disagreement between Peke and LowLander how this should work. Lowlander: 1 Select a file with 5 stars 2 Also select a file that's unrated 3 Open Properties on both files selected --> Properties shows 5 stars (it should show none) Peke thinks that it should show 5 stars (like in MM4) for consistency with other fields. So I reverted it back to the Peke's/MM4 behaviour in 5.0.2.2501 and let's see how it works. Note that for applying the value to all files the checkbox (next to the star rating) needs to be checked. |

Confirmed on 2501. Rating behaves like other fields. If a file with no Rating is in selection with files with the same Rating it is showing that Rating, just like it shows the other tags that are common to the selection when files without a value are in the selection. |
