| Description | (13:40:33) Rusty: Jiri, re. Lowlander's comments at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3559, I'm a bit confused. Here are some things I've observed re. auto-tagging from Amazon that seem strange: -Try to Auto-Tag an entire Album of tracks by Artist: Jewel, Album:Pieces of You (all tagged correctly --> guess of Lizzy Borden - Love You to Pieces -Try to Auto-Tag an entire Album of tracks by Artist: Jewel, Album: Spirit (all tagged correctly) --> guess of Wolfe Tones -- Spirit of the Nation -Try to Auto-Tag a single track Artist: April Wine Album: Test, stored in /My Music --> it searches for 'My Music' and returns 'Leo Kottke - My Father's Face' -Try to Auto-Tag 10/12 tracks Artist:Carpenters, Album: Singles 1969-73, stored in /My Music --> it searches for 'My Music' and returns 'Leo - Kottke - My Father's Face' (13:41:29) Rusty: -Try to Auto-Tag 11/12 tracks Artist:Carpenters, Album: Singles 1969-73, stored in /My Music --> it searches for 'Carpenters Singles' and returns the correct album!! (13:43:10) Rusty: One other thing I noticed: When it searches for an Artist such as U2, it strips out the number (i.e. it searches for 'U The Joshua Tree' instead of 'U2 The Joshua Tree'. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not. (13:45:06) Jirka: Re. Carpenters - in the second case you only selected one more track and had all the previous selected? (13:45:13) Rusty: Yes. (13:46:15) Rusty: I don't think that Lowlander is correct about search behaviour changing depending on whether it was the first search (though I may be wrong), but it does seem that the # of tracks selected for auto-tagging somehow has an effect on the results. | ||||
