| Description | Debugging issue in ticket [Ticket # 2652] Info from past CD shows up when trying to rip new CD 1) lpVolumeSerialNumber fails to read in case of user's CD drive and thus MM5 stores/overrides the CD-Text info by the values from C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey5\CDPlayer.ini wrote there for previously inserted CD. 2) Freedb/MusicBrainz lookup fails with error "The media for the Freedb query is unavailable." 3) Another side effect is that the 'D:\ [Audio CD]' node isn't shown under Media Tree toot, but only under Folders > D:\ [Audio CD] | ||||

FYI: I reverted the fix in 2508. Besides of some regressions (like 0018392) it has also a negative performance impact whenever there is more than one CD drive (like in LowLander's case who has 4 drives). In addition the fix did not fully resolve the original issue in ticket # 2652. I continue to debugging with user via the ticket, seems a problem stricly related to his environment that I haven't seen in another logs and cannot replicate -- testing with all my drives (two extenral, two internals (PC and laptop) |
