| Description | Although the list of Devices under Devices & Services does show a device being disabled, the Device Profile itself doesn't provide this feedback. So if a user approaches the devices through the Media Tree directly the user may be unaware the device is disabled. Solutions: A) Right under the tab bar show a status line that device is disabled and provide an option to enable it again. B) At the bottom of the device screen show a status line that device is disabled and provide an option to enable it again. The idea being that this information is shown no matter what tab/option is selected in the Device Profile. | ||||

Currently the Summary tab does show the device status as 'Disabled'. I guess that this isn't obvious enough? Or is there a specific case in which the status isn't correctly represented? Perhaps, for a disabled device all config options should be in the disabled state to make it more obvious that it's disabled. |

That's not clear enough (I missed it). I don't think disabling of settings is necessary, it may still be useful to some to be able to do this for disabled device. It may make it more clear to some, but others may be confused as to why it doesn't work. |

We can make this more obvious by: 1) In the list of Devices and Services, grey out the device names that are disabled. 2) On the Summary tab of a disabled device, grey out all text except for the status line 3) Upon clicking any disabled device, show the Summary tab |
