I reviewed the samples you sent and it seems that on your iPod the total length of path is limited to 64 characters (including extension). This doesn't happen on my iPod, I successfully tried much longer paths. So I think the best will be to add a new check box with limitation for the total path length to 64. |

OK. Quick question, though: can you enable this option by default so as to prevent problems? btw, to me it looks like it's slightly less than 64 characters, but perhaps I'm mistaken. |

Yes, the option will be enabled by default. As for 64, I think it's correct. You calculated a total of 60, but afaik it was without '.mp3', so it's extra 4 characters. |

Fixed in build 853. - After some thinking I realized that it's better to add an option for a complete iTunes compatibility, which means that tracks are hashed into folders F00-F50 in Music folder. This way, after cutting the filenames in F00-F50 folders the limit of full pathnames if far below 64. Please check wording of the option. |
