| Description | Externally created .m3u files seem to cause problems for MMA: a) If they're deleted in MMA, they magically re-appear b) If MMA is configured to auto-sync device content, then such playlists can cause MMA Wi-Fi sync operations to experience a 'Global error2'. Below is what I experienced (it's probably too much data, but I'm including all of it in case certain elements are relevant) 1 Create playlist 'New pl on px5' in MMA with 4 tracks 2 Initiate Wi-Fi Sync with: - 'Sync from device' > 'Device content' enabled - Delete from device: unselected library files enabled --> Confirmed upload and deletion of the Playlist --> Global error2! Generated debug logs: EIYM7R3MID 3 In a second case, I deleted the playlist that may or may not have caused the problem, and re-initiated a sync operation. --> A couple of tracks sync and then Global error2! Generated debug log: ILP1PBXP1W 4 At this point, I noticed that there's a 'test' Playlist in MMA, that is being scanned into the library from '/storage/emulated/o/gmmp/playlists/test.m3u' (from another app) and that whenever I attempt to delete it with MMA, it gets deleted and then reappears soon after. When I deleted it using the original app and then initiate a sync operation --> 'Global error2' sync error no longer occurs (though sync still fails after 77 tracks due to 'Server not responding'! | ||||

Re 2) SocketTimeoutException should be already fixed and wifi sync should continue Re 3) Fixed Re 4) The playlist is in folder, which you don't have permmission to write, so MMA delete it from library, but then is synchronized back from android media store, because playlist still exists. There should be a write permission requirement for all playlists to be deleted, but I don't think that's urgent. |

I just initiated a sync with build 1068 and observed Global Error 2 on sync to the SD card from the Wizard. Debug log: U58N1UKUIW Strangely, the error didn't occur upon syncing a second time. So I'm only re-opening this bug in case the log provides some useful information. |
