Summary | 0019403: Add E-ink mode to optimize use on E-ink tablets
Description | There's an empty market for music apps that work well on E-ink displays. If MediaMonkey for Android is optimized for E-ink displays, we can market it to users who want to listen to music on their e-readers (e.g. Kindle, Boox, Kobo). Here are the main optimizations done on E-ink friendly apps: - White is the default background color. - Black borders are used instead of using colors to differentiate between different regions. - All sliding animations are disabled (e.g. the media tree sliding in from the left, and sliding between tabs) - Continuous scrolling of lists is avoided if possible, and instead, pagination is used. Swiping up and down can flip between each page. All of these settings could be set with a single "E-ink mode" checkbox in the UI settings page. Maybe MM could open a prompt at install time, offering to enable E-ink mode, if it detects that the device is in a known list of E-ink tablets.
