As discussed, I don't understand the need for this. This functionality to create playlists for Artists, Albums, Folders was designed for 'Dumb' devices that don't have the ability to browse by Artist, Album, or Folder. But if the user is syncing with MMA, then why is this functionality required? From my perspective, the only change required would be to disable this function for profiles syncing to MMA. Or am I misunderstanding? |

As talked there is really no point of creating that and duplicating things. Resolving as no change required. More details explained to user at https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=102977#p503224 |

At a minimum it would need to be disabled as now it's confusing. Both disabling/hiding settings would still incur occasional user questions as to why this is the case. However, 1 Users may use MMA to Sync, but other apps to browse/play files 2 Folder structure on PC may not match folder structure on device 3 There is no harm in having this function as designed for dumb devices on a smart device |
