Summary | 0019658: No sleep timer indicator (regression)
Description | With MMA 2, there's no way to view the sleep timer status (or to change / turn off the timer by clicking that status). I believe that this is related to the fact that MMA 1 used custom notification players which displayed sleep status, but since MMA 2 uses the system notification by default, sleep status is no longer accessible. Possible approaches to displaying sleep status: 1) As a button on the System notification player (is this possible?) 2) As a new notification (not sure if this is ideal though as it would mean that there are 2 MMA notifications) 3) Add a timer indicator within MMA to show that it's active a) in the miniplayer b) in the player

I tested it on Android 8 and Android 11 and the indicator is visible in the system notification player(see screenshots). You can click on this indicator to get SleepTimer dialog (It does not show the correct sleep timer dialog in 1055 - so I fixed it in 2.0.0.1056). |

Sorry--I missed that/misunderstood the user's report. The user meant that upon clicking the timer button, the dialog appears _in back_ of the MMA UI and that's why they cannot see the status or change the settings! (See attached) |
