Summary | 0020019: Endless 'Updating album artwork' notification
Description | When running MMA on one device, there's an endless 'updating album artwork' notification for the album "The Future". Pressing 'cancel' on the notification fails to terminate it. Log ID: 2HF9KSDVDA Note: Artwork lookup is disabled and I never attempted to manually lookup artwork.

Similar issue to 0019964:0072106 Unfortunately, notifications for those two cases are processed in ForegroundService handled by OS. There isn't a simple solution on the MMA side, I think on Android 13 this no longer happens and on Android 12 it happens very rarely and a future system update could resolve this. |

It just occurred again on Android 12 running build 1097. MMA hadn't been run in a couple of days, and upon logging into the device, the notification was showing and remained showing even after running MMA. The problem is quite severe, though, as tapping 'cancel' on the notification has no effect, and the notification cannot be swiped away. Closing MMA also has no effect. The only way to get rid of it is to force-stop MMA. Debug log: 6FRUWJJP39 |

Should be already fixed in build 2.0.0.1098 |

I'm no longer seeing this on Android 12. |
