Tooltip staying opened problem fixed in build 2819. Tooltip delay left at 500ms, it seems to be standard and usual value, no need to change. |

1) Tooltip is closed once Configure is hit. 2a) Trigger area seems overly broad. - For Output Plug-ins for example, everywhere on screen triggers the tooltip, except when hovering over the actual Output Plug-ins listed. - On Player, anywhere in Default action or Default play now action triggers tooltip, but not for Pop-up display, where individual items trigger tooltip 2b) This also seems to affect when the tooltip is closed. - Nowhere (not even the output plug-ins) triggers the tooltip to close, until you move out of the Output Plug-in area itself. - On Player the triggered tooltip blocks user input. Tooltip doesn't auto-close till leaving section (clicking does close it, but user may not see what they're clicking as tooltip blocks user input). image.png (17,118 bytes) |

1) I think it is correct, isn't it? 2a) in MM4 it is even broader (included area with plug-ins), I am not sure, what solution you suggest, where do you think it should open tooltip? 2b) it is the same in MM4, tooltip is opened as long as the mouse is above tooltip area. It was requested in #12907. This is how it works. It can be adjusted by specifying smaller active area, but in case of Output/Input plug-ins I am not sure what area should be active? I will limit tooltip for Default action groups to the text and control only, not whole group. |

1) I meant to say that it fails to close otherwise. The Output Plugins themselves don't trigger the tooltip, nor close it. 2a&b) Work much better on 2822, consider resolved. |
