Summary | 0020361: Clarify UI terminology in help
Description | As reported at https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=105208 it would be useful if: - UI is searchable - There's a simple graphic to indicate UI elements - Any inconsistencies in terminology are eliminated (if there are any)

The real problem is the forum, where lost of posts are for older versions using older terms. Also some will use old terms after names are changed. This will always be a problem when things get changed after a long time. I'm not sure that Help has inconsistencies. The interface has had a graphic explanation of elements since MediaMonkey 4. I'm unsure what UI is searchable means. Help search has always been problematic due to everything in Help being returned. The only thing that would've been great was changing the URL's as they're based on MMW4. However this would be a huge nightmare as this would require updates in MMW2024 as well as the interlinking in the Help itself of which there is a lot. |
