This was discussed already in the past, it is not generally reliably possible. When used Google search, it does not have any option to choose only artworks or only band images. And adding any word like "band" to the search phrase fixes it for some bands, but ruins for other (e.g. I experienced it often returned images of band - part of clothing). |

Reopening, user from ticket 8421 suggested several other adjustments to improve artist image search results for several groups (artist - current result - phrase for better result): Bleach - Cartoon stills from some tv show. - Bleach Christian Band Bush - Showed me photos of actual bushes. - Bush (band) Chevelle - Shows images of the car, not the band. - Chevelle (band) Cold - Showed me a man who has a cold. And a man who was cold. - Cold (band) Creed - Showed me a perfume and the film, as well as the band. - Creed (band) D12 - Showed me a D12 dice from Dungeons and Dragons as well as the rap group. - D12 (rap group) Ellery - Nothing applicable came up... Random people with Ellery in their name. - Ellery Justin and Tasha golden Everclear - Showed me the alcohol - Everclear (band) Fastball - Mostly right, but I got a few images of baseballs. - Fastball (band) Fuel - Images of cars being refueled. - Fuel (band) Jars of Clay - Mostly correct, but I've seen a handful of images of actual clay jars, not the band. - Jars of Clay (band) Jill Phillips - Some were correct, but many others were random women with the same name. - Jill Phillips (musician) John Reuben - Some are right, but some are just strange. - John Reuben (musician) LaRue - Shows images from a gun manufacturer, not the band. - Natalie and Phillip LaRue Muse - Mostly good, but it included an image from the film Muse - Muse (band) Oasis - Showed me pictures of a desert oasis as well as photos of the band. - Oasis (band) Plumb - Showed me plumb lines. - Plumb (band) Skillet - Shows me pictures of cooking skillets. - Skillet (band) Sleepwave - Some random images of a phone app about sleeping. - Sleepwave (band) (spencer chamberlain) |
