Summary | 0020424: Questionable implementations of buttons in the Preview panel
Description | 1. The button on the right side of the Preview title bar doesn't have a down arrow, but it clearly behaves as a dropdown (showing menu with Artwork options), just like List or Search toolbar buttons that show their dropdown menus, or even the down arrow button next to the title in the Preview title bar (e.g. Playing). If you have a toolbar button without a down arrow next to it, you expect that something happens immediately when you click on that button, but not to see an additional menu. 2. I don't see any reason why this button and its menu exist at such place at all. Why didn't you put these options in the Preview menu that you get with the button on the left side of the Preview title bar? 3. If you really want such button, it should have its tooltip since its purpose is not obvious until you click on it. Also, the maximize and full-screen buttons on the top-right corner of the Preview panel when it shows Visualization could have displayed tooltips, although their purpose is more intuitive.
