Summary | 0020521: WiFi Sync fails to delete matched tracks (regression?)
Description | If there are unmatched tracks on a device, MM will fail to delete them on the first sync when 'delete unselected server files' is enabled (issue 1). Moreover, even on subsequent syncs, many tracks fail to delete--presumably due to a matching bug (issue 2). This could be the root of some recent user complaints about MMA having duplicate tracks in the library.
Steps To Reproduce | 1 Install MMA 2 Initiate WiFi sync of PlaylistA to SD card --> Tracks and Playlist sync as expected 3 Uninstall MMA without saving any settings 4 Re-install MMA 2 Initiate WiFi sync of PlaylistB to SD card, and enable deletion of 'Unselected server files' --> PlaylistA is deleted, but tracks within aren't even prompted for deletion (issue 1)! --> PlaylistB and associated tracks sync as expected 3 Re-initiate WiFi sync again (without any changes) --> Most but not all tracks from PlaylistA are deleted (issue 2)! I haven't tested extensively, but it looks like many of the tracks that failed to delete had "(" or ")" or "," or other foreign characters/symbols within the metadata. Note: the issue doesn't occur when 'Delete all unselected files' is used.
