Summary0020636: Album art should be displayed in semi-transparent background of Visualization
DescriptionThe Line fade and Basic oscillator visualizations are too much plain and empty. When "Show image" is turned on, maybe the album art should be displayed in semi-transparent background of visualization if "Show image" option is turned on. Something like it is on the attached video.

I have turned on Show image option, but I don't see a suggested semi-transparent artwork in the background of any Visualization, including Line fade and Basic oscillator.

I had the wanted result with my skin displayed on the video in the Details, but it had another issues that cannot be resolved through skinning.

Here is the screenshot, there is no semi-transparent artwork in background of Preview:

You are probably confusing Show image for Preview window with Show image for visualization (option on running visualization).

Did you see my video in the Details of this issue? Can you make something like that?

It is already there, just open menu on visualization...

I don't get the semi-transparent artwork with any Visualization, even if I have turned on Show image from the context menu of the running visualization.

By the way, I don't see a point having two Show image options. Why don't you use the same named option from the Preview menu?

It works here for us, I have no idea what you have different and how to reproduce.
And it is different setting, Show image in Preview is for showing image under metadata. Not everyone could want artwork under both - metadata and visualization.

Yeah, it works with some albums, but not with all. It is related with the 0022327 issue, i.e. the artwork is not displayed in Visualization since it is not displayed for Playing and Selected either, even when it should.

I am not a big fan of options that are available only from the context menu of the Preview panel, including Zoom, Subtitle sizes and others. I think all such options should be available at least from the Preview menu (three dots). But this is a thing for another issue.

You could close this issue, but please resolve 0022327.
