Summary | 0020726: Languages not available to some users (regression 3005)
Description | At https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=105927 , several users have indicated that when they navigate to Options > General > Languages, no languages other than English are listed! It's unclear what the cause is / how to replicate, but hopefully you have an idea of what scenario might trigger this.

I saw that previously when langstatus cannot be dowloaded from our web |
But why would it occur _consistently_ for some users: - of 3005 but not 3003 - on a particular PC but not their other PCs Note: I tested https://www.mediamonkey.com/sw/mmw/2024/lang/langstatus.json and https://www.mediamonkey.com/sw/mmw/5/lang/langstatus.json and it seems to load correctly, though strangely, when I load it with Firefox, it generates an error. Could this be related (I doubt it, since why would this error occur consistently on some PCs and only on MM 2024)? |
I see the error in firefor but it's just because of UTF-8 format of the json file. |

Even after uploading the latest langstatus file, firefox still shows an error. Also, the user that was experiencing this failure uploaded the requested files at https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=518014#p518014 |

Firefox (and Edge) simply cannot parse and show UTF-8 json file we're using (that file need to be UTF-8 because of credits). MM load and parse that file correctly. Is language selection works correctly in 3006 ? |
As discussed, I (and Peke) weren't able to replicate this problem. And 3006 is working fine for me. |
Languages should be fixed in 3006 |
