| Description | Currently We only control MM access thru MM server settings where we have firewall exception check mark, which is in some cases not enough.
We should expand this in order to better control MM information is sent and received from internet.
The best solution would be sort of dedicated Firewall/Metadata settings panel where user would be able to select what information will be accepted from outside and what information MM will share/access on internet.
Such Settings are including What third sites MM will access eg. in info panel or within Metadata lookup, will it be allowed to be accessed over internet and what services it is allowed to access (Google, Spotify, DropBox, ...)
This panel would be capable to control Windows firewall rules and limit access to LAN, Protocols and services. |
