Summary | 0002096: Regression: Rip CD doesn't lookup metadata on Freedb
Description | In build 904, when a CD is inserted for ripping, the metadata is not looked up on Freedb. This results in default paths such as: C:\My Music\Unknown\Track 01.mp3

I don't see any problem, it works perfectly for me. Please add some more details, maybe some specific steps, a debug log, or so. |

Retested after rebooting and the problem still occurs, but not _always_ as it did previously. Now, if you insert a CD and the XP dialog box appears asking you what you want to do with the CD, and you click 'Rip CD', the metadata is missing from the Rip CD dialog box. Note: my guess is that the problem was previously always occuring because of some kinks in the CD burning code which I'd been testing a lot. |
